Junior High Scholar Bowl is a fast-paced team knowledge and trivia challenge. Teams of four members buzz in with the correct answers to toss-up questions to earn points for their team. In bonus questions, teams confer to come up with an answer before time runs out. To have a great team, we need students of different knowledge sets: math, sports, history, literature, mythology, or even pop culture knowledge because you just never know what category will come up next! Having a teammate with quick buzzer skills is helpful too! Students learn teamwork, leadership skills, and have a great time. We usually learn some interesting facts too!

We plan to participate in several local tournaments, a couple of online competitions, host a tournament in the spring, and help out at the WCHS tournaments. Students who join the JH Scholar Bowl can easily join the high school team since they'll already know the format for games.
